The Teddy Bear I

Coming up with the perfect birthday gift for Harry had been a complicated task. Draco had been in and out of every store in Diagon Alley before he saw a child sitting in the sun, a teddy in her arms. Suddenly, Draco remembered Harry’s story about how he’d never had a teddy bear.

It had taken a while to find the perfect one, but Draco had managed. Fluffy, brown and with sad eyes, it looked just perfect.

Harry opened his present and his mouth fell open. “Thank you, Draco,” he said with a huge smile.

Draco had never felt better.

It's okay. Having sex on your LJ has now become a criminal offense somewhat akin to paedophilia here, so everybody's playing it kind of safe. I need to change my friending rules too. *cry*

Yeah, I figure I should keep it behind friends-wraps, to be on the safe side. I don't post much NC-17 stuff anymore (it was a period I had when I drew it *shrug*). What should you change your friending rules to?

*g* It's funny with people's ages though... I had you pegged for a few years older ^^ You've never told me your age, but I had you like three years older than you are or something. It's fun to find out the real ages. Though I'm not sure age matters that much - I still don't feel like a grown-up and my boyfriend is a few years younger than me... ^^

(And yesterday when I was going through the list of people who'd friended me, I thought some would be older ('cause they had 'older sounding' names) than they were... Lucky I checked...).

I friended your other journal and have been reading that. Hope you don't mind. I didn't realise you had two ;)

I should change it to nobody under 18 is allowed in my journal, with everything friends locked. My webpage is down now, and I am possibly going to change my LJ name. I don't want to, but I'm a little bit worried.

I really love this name, though, so I don't want to lose it. Bah.

I have no honest idea how old you are, but I don't care at all. Legally I should, but morally I just... don't. I was getting off on slashy stuff at thirteen, so I don't get why it's so wrong. *sigh*

Like you, I don't care much about age - I too was reading stuff that maybe I shouldn't have when I was 13. But whatever; it doesn't seem to have destroyed me ^^ Or you, for that matter. There are people far above the age of 18 that can't handle the slash we post, just as there are people younger than 18 that *can* handle it.

Why are you going to change your LJ name and why is your site down?

I'm looking at perhaps becoming a teacher. This LJ name just happens to be my first name, irl. Now, telling somebody online that isn't going to really help them stalk me.. problem is that this isn't a very common name, so if I did become a teacher and an employer were to google me, I'd be fucked. Nearly everything on google points to me.

I'll probably put my webpage up again under a different name. I'm working to remove links between my real name and slash. We'll just see how it goes, I guess.

Ah. That's understandable. Since I took down the NC-17 stuff from my site, I'm not really worried about employers going there anymore - but it might be a bit different when you want to be a teacher...

It's usually rare for me to post as well. I don't know what happened ^^ And I *still* have more stuff to post... Both fics and drabbles.

*g* That's so cool :) I have a few people I only speak to over the net and since we just do that, it barely feels like time moves forward at all. Hehe, perhaps kids are a good way to keep track of time (though my mom insists that she hasn't gotten a single year older since she had me. It's just me who's aged. *g*).

I think my mother stopped ageing when I left home. She doesn't seem to have changed, at least, so that's pretty cool. She's gorgeous, and has the softest skin too. *envies*

My mother now weighs less than me and is this tall, model-like person (she worked as a model when she was younger) that I feel rather... grey next to... Whopee. *eyeroll* Ah well, hopefully we'll get to look that way when we're that age too :)
