The writers on NCIC crack my hubby and I up sometimes. We used to live across the Potomac from the Naval Yard in Alexandria, Virginia. It's funny how they get to Norfolk like its next door (in reality, even with Gibbs driving the trip is about 2.5-3 hours). When they showed the Alexandria train station I almost fell off my couch. The Alexandria train station is a tiny little place where you can buy tickets and not much else, where as the film location (Union Station in downtown LA) is somewhere we'd been and recognized. :D
