*g* I originally had them find one of the bodies in Norfolk, because on the show, it felt like it was like half an hour away and that was an okay distance - until my beta pointed out to me that it's faaar away. After that, I've relied on Google maps to see distances and stuff (I hope this story has been mostly accurate, with only some creative licensing going on ^^).

Very funny with the train station. I recently joined a (not-so-active, apparently) comm, fake_dc. The first post, which is from Bones, is similar in its stupidity with the US Capitol building in the background when a plane is landing at Dulles airport ^^ (Link (http://community.livejournal.com/fake_dc/360.html#cutid1)).

I'm sure for people living in DC, there are lots of these silly things going on. For me, who's never been to DC, it's harder to pick up - but I think the writers and most especially, the people picking locations and stuff, should know better.
