Long-time LJ:er, and beta needed
Apr. 2nd, 2008 09:29 pmGood lord, I've had this LJ for a long time. I hadn't realized, and would have continued to not realize, unless I'd revamped it and started going through the whole thing to remove the stupid HTML-tags I put on every entry before I knew what CSS was.
Still not terribly good at CSS, so if anyone knows how to change the background, please tell me - do I have to format the whole journal by myself then, or can I just switch the background of this design? I can obviously change the fonts and such.
Anyway, I have more than 150 entries, which isn't much I suppose, but it's much when it's me, 'cause I usually get bored long before that. But I've had this LJ since February 2004, which means over four years - since I was posting "The Depths of Winter". Have posted a bit more since then, yes...
Tomorrow, new chapters of The Winter Legacy: Heritage and After Rain are coming up. And then at some point, I'll be posting the two sequels/chapters I've written for Advanced Sex-Education.
I'm also looking for a beta for my new House M.D. fics, two oneshots and one longer fic, all slash but not rated more than PG-13. House/Wilson.
Oh, and fun stuff, because when I started on this journal, I wrote this about The Depths of Winter:
Of the grand total of 4381 people who've clicked on TDoW, 92 have reviewed. The percentage? 2,1%. Among authors (at least on ff.net), a 5% review rate is considered high.
Now? 446451 hits and 2075 reviews :D It's my best reviewed story, obviously. And that's just on fanfiction.net, if I may brag a little - added to that are Schnoogle reviews, LJ reviews and emails I've received. Hehe. But the percentage is still *very* low ^^ (Oh, and 15 000 hits are on the last chapter, so it's not all going on the first chapter and thinking it's crap :D)
