Fantasy... an entire universe

Just watched a bit of Buffy - started out earlier today with "The killer in me" and "Lies my parents told me" because I wanted a Spike fix... god, James Marsters is so lovely. Continued with the episodes following "Lies my parents told me" - "Dirty girls" and "Empty places".

"Dirty Girls" is the episode where Faith/Eliza Dushko returns. It's a good enough episode (though I'll forever hate everything to do with Caleb - he's self-obsessed and boring, and holds my interest about as much as the character of Paul in "Dollhouse" - that is, not at all). One scene in particular stood out as extremely lovely. It's a Spike/Faith scene where Faith hides out in the basement to avoid the masses of girls upstairs, and Spike is there because he lives in the basement.

Among other things, the two reminisce about past events. It's done in a beautiful way. They have great chemistry, really. (And now I'm reading online that that scene was to "test" the two to see if they had enough chemistry together for their own spin-off - I'd have liked to see such a spin-off ^^). They're just both very cool characters. I gotta get myself a Spike-icon.
