The first of ten hurt/comfort stories for the TV-series "H2O: Just Add Water", which I've semi-fallen in love with (it's quite silly in several episodes, because it's a kids/teen show, but I like the characters and the general idea of it).

Summary: Her eyes travelled onto the TV-screen, which was showing the weather report. Storm clouds piled up on the screen – a thunderstorm was heading their way.

Author’s notes: Response to prompt 9 on my Hurt/Comfort table. Takes place between the first season finale, 1x26 "A Twist in the Tail", before the start of the second season, 2x01 "Control". An alternate take on how Zane finds out that Rikki's still a mermaid.
