fabulous story. Your use of language is simply lovely--evocative & clearly captures emotion and attention. Wonderfully captured much of what I think Tony had to be feeling about everything since Gibbs' vacay into Mexico. I was so pissed with how Gibbs just packed up Tony's stuff & dumped it on his old desk. Not to mention the complete lack of follow-up from 'requiem'--you saw that and ran. (There's a lot that has needed to be fixed in recent years on the show). Thanks for sharing this.
