Title: Comfort
Artist: [livejournal.com profile] bananacosmic
Rating: G
Materials Used: Photoshop, mostly
Notes:I should be studying for my biology final. Oh well. I re-read my own fanfic, Time out of Place (is it lame to re-read your own stories? And if so, is it even lamer to actually still love what you wrote, even six years later?). This is from a scene in the second chapter. It's not quite accurate, because they're actually on the floor and Harry's in pain too, but I was drew the sketch in school and didn't have the scene in front of me, so...

Pencil sketch, filled in with pen, all colored in Photoshop. I got half-way through coloring this and thought it looked awful, but I decided to continue anyway. I actually love the way it turned out in the end, so yay...

Oh, and I used a texture in this. I don't remember who made it, but if you recognize it, please tell me and I'll add credit.

*raises hand* I re-read some of my fanfic from time to time and still like it too... :-)

And that is awesome by the way. I love seeing hand sketches colored in Photoshop. It's a thing I like. :-)

This is so beautiful, love the expression on their faces, it's like they are trying to keep them apart or saying good-bye, but they do not want to let go.

I never heard of your story before, but I will check it out. I am always looking for great stories.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it :) Feel free to check out the story - it's a bit old by now (written in 2003), but it has 1000 reviews on ff.net, so it can't be that bad ^^

I constantly re-read my own fic. And I have to tell you...Time Out of Place is the fic that made me love Draco. So thank you for six years of Draco adoration. :D

I love the picture. Makes me smile. Makes me want to go re-read the fic. Except that I should be working on my NaNo... :p

Awww, thank you :) Draco deserves adoration *g* And great, then it's not just me being weird ^^

Heh. Good luck with your NaNo ^^ I did NaNo a few years back, but these days, I have no muse and absolutely no time... *sigh*

This is beautiful. :)

I've re-read some of my fic from 4-5 years ago and loved some of it. I never thought it was particularly good at the time, but some of it I really love. Then there's some from 6 or so years ago when I was a terrible writer and I wince to think I shared it online! heh. Fandom does so much for people.

Thank you :)

I think I'd mostly wince if I re-read my Buffy stories (I think I did that a while back), because those were the very first fics I ever wrote. TooP wasn't the first long story I wrote ("After Rain" was, ironically, since it's the last one I posted), so I guess I'd had some time to develop ^^ And yes, fandom certainly does so much.

I re-read your fanfic all the time and still I love it! TooP is one of my fave re-read h/c fics. I adore this pic as well. I'm actually going to try re-reading my fics, I often feel like there's this whole backstory in my head that I'm not too good at getting on paper, but oh well, I like them anyway.

Glad you like both the pic and the fic :) I did notice that there's a *lot* of h/c in the fic *g* It's pretty much 80 000 words of h/c... But people seem to enjoy it ^^

So cute. Poor Draco. I do like the colors. Sometimes I'll start something and look at it and think, 'OMG, aweful" Then it finishes up very nice.

I find that sometimes the best thing to do is set it aside for a day or two. Michale said that your eyes just get 'tired' of looking at it.

It has not been 6 years, has it? Wow! Where did the time go? I remember when you posted that story. Loved it! Still love it. Hey, where's the sequel you promised? I didn't miss it, did I?

Nice art work! It reminds me of all the ways the story left you breathless.

Yup, it has. I finished posting in June 2003. Time certainly flies... I never promised a sequel, did I? :) I'm fairly certain I felt done with that universe and the way I left it. Still like the slight open-endedness to it :)

Thank you *hugs*

Okay. Maybe you didn't exactly promise a sequel. Maybe I just remember begging for one? Probably. So, did future Draco live? And how? and what happened in the future when the boys switched back? Okay....I'm begging for a sequel. *beg* *beg*
