Gaaaah!
House: House's Head (spoilers for the teaser of Wilson's Heart)
Okay, first I watch the House episode (I'm in Sweden, so it's downloaded, yes, because I can't wait two years to see the most recent episodes), in all its fantabulousness. I mean - god. I didn't see the Amber thing coming, mostly because I had no idea what the necklace was made of, even less so the english word, but good *lord* that was good.
I'm fairly convinced Amber's going to die in the season finale next week. It doesn't bother me much, although the parallell between House and Amber this season has been fun - though sticking a rod or whatever that was in her leg wasn't all that subtle. I have no idea what the finale will bring, but I really, really doubt Amber and House had an affair - the teaser wouldn't give such a thing away, and it just doesn't make much sense. I am a firm believer that the scene where House and Amber almost kiss is part of House's fantasy/trying to remember. They seem to be doing a "Sixth sense" kind of thing with the red - the red ribbon, the red clothes.
Wilson's face in the end when he realizes he hasn't talked to Amber after all is heartbreaking. The show has so many fantastic actors, and next week - I'll probably be crying my eyes out, if the teaser is anything to go by.
Brilliant, either way. Absolutely brilliant.
Bones: The Wannabe in the Weeds
After watching House yesterday, and surfing the net today to see the online reactions, I thought I'd watch the new episode of Bones, for funsies and to get my mind off the goddamn cliffhangers. What do I get?
Booth is *shot*. Granted, I saw the hurt coming pretty much as soon as Booth and that crazy woman (Pam) were in interrogation together, but still. Wow. A week's wait to see what happens there too (although there are two more episodes to go after the one I just watched: The Pain in the Heart (huh, I wonder what that refers to *eyeroll*) and The Man in the Outhouse, so I don't doubt that Booth will be just fine).
If I get to have a complaint for Bones, it's that it was too fast. I'd have liked to see more buildup as the crazy got worse - an episode or two of foreshadowing would have been good. I don't know if this is because of the strike; it's quite possible that because they have fewer episodes to work with, the storyline got shortened a lot. I kind of hope that was what happened, because othewise it's a lot of in your face.
I'm also wondering a bit what happened to the storyline they started this season - some weird skeleton that was called something special and canibals and whatnot. Haven't seen that in a long time, but then Booth told Bones that it was one of those things that was gonna take time. Hmh. Possibly also a bit related to the strike (I'll blame everything on the strike).
I want Tuesday to come *now*, dammit (Tuesday, because I'm nine hours ahead of the US, which means it'll be Tuesday before I can get to see the new episodes).
Gah.
