I've gotten a few awards lately. I got 'best color' and 'best text' at icontest_ncis, and second place in ncis_stillness challenge 71. I made two headers for the header challenge at ncis_stillness - and I came in first and second with them. And I came in first with my icon. A huge thank you to everyone who voted *hugs*

I made wallpapers of one of the headers, and if anyone wants it, I figured I'd post it:

Damned muse is plenty active, just not on anything that will come out the fingers right now. I don't know what I'm supposed to do with all the potential House crossovers, or that uber shifter crossover from hell. Now this?

*g* I've tried coming up with something that could work for a House/NCIS crossover for months, since last summer after the fouth season cliffhanger had me longing for more House... and I just don't feel secure enough in my medical knowledge to write anything with a medical mystery for House (because the natural crossover would be one of the NCIS:ers getting a weird disease...).

Oh, no: I've only ever read I think two NCIS fanfics. One was yours, and the other was, I believe, something you recommended to me. I liked the one of yours that I read, but I read it for the author and not for the fandom. :)

Mostly I don't look at your stuff (especially icons) because I think you're two seasons ahead of me. I really like the show, but we're really far behind. I didn't have access to a television for most of last year, and now I do it's on too late at night for me to watch. We kind of only really watch it when the series come out on DVD, and even then we take ages to watch them.

They're actually not that much behind on TV here with NCIS (unlike House, which they've just started showing season four of here...), but I keep up with downloading the episodes instead.

We've just gone back to watch NCIS in order (*gasp* could it be? heh) from the first season, so it'll be a while before I've caught up to your writing. Seriously, we're still on Kate!

Oh, those are some good episodes. I started watching at the start of season three, so I started out with Ziva, which means I never warmed completely to Kate (unlike everyone else), but there is definite goodness. There is so much slash potential too *g* I have a long tag for 'Dead man talking' that I'll be posting after The Raft of the Medusa - so if you would like to, you'll be able to read that. ^^

I'm almost jealous - you have so many lovely episodes to look forward to :)

Thank you very much. I was actually thinking a bit about you when I made this, because Ducky isn't among the cards. It wasn't because I wanted to leave him out, but because I didn't have the shot of him from the same photoshoot as the others... and by the time I did find it, I was already done with the wallpaper and header.

Oh, I'm glad you like it :) I wanted all the pairings to be featured - it wouldn't be right to just take a few. So I went through my own icons and the only pairing I hadn't done was Kate/Abby. Had to make one of those, and then I was good to go ^^ I had actually been planning on making a header like that for the ncis_stillness challenge, but never go to it.

Now I just want to try to make ncis_slash more active ^^

You're welcome. Awww. I did notice the lack of Ducky, yes. Ah, I can understand fully why you couldn't put him in. They are lovely cards, you are another very talented graphics maker.

I think it's wonderful - and so inclusive, which really does encourage people, I think. And I love sepia colours. So all in all it was a superb winner, IMO.

Active is good. I do think monthly challenges would be fun and hopefully would encourage a range of pairings.

The colors and cropping on your icons are just lovely. You've done a wonderful job here--I've never been a fan of washed-out color on icons. Yours are vibrant and eye-catching. I've taken several off each NCIS post--I took most of the Gibbs ones. Everyone icons Tony, but it's harder to find good icons of Gibbs.
