I guess I had forgotten (read: repressed) how much of NCIS was about Tony/Ziva. Then I watched the ET online interview thing, where Sean Murray and Mark Harmon barely got to say anything, because pretty much all the questions were to Cote dePablo (and Michael Weatherly) about Ziva, and Tony/Ziva.
I. Don't. Care.
Not about Ziva, and most certainly not about Tony/Ziva. Everything is about that. I guess it's something that they admit that it's not the least bit subtle anymore.
Beyond that, CdP and the others are getting on my nerves for talking about how fantastic the show was last season, and how fantastic it's going to be now - because if they think last year was fantastic, then... ugh. There were a couple of good episodes, a few that made sense and had good characterization, but the rest was various degrees of crap.
Just kill her off (they're apparently very good at shocking people with killing characters off - never mind that Kate's was the only really shocking one, whereas Jenny's was of necessity because they'd written her into such a corner and most people hated her, and Agent Lee had also been written into a corner that would've been very messy to get out of).
Sigh.

Date: 2009-09-17 07:59 pm (UTC)I certainly will. I've had enough of it with Season 6.
What I DID see in that interview though was that MW was NOT very keen on the whole Tony/Ziva shebang. Thank God for small favors. Maybe they'll start listening to their actors again at one point, much as CdP seems to dig the whole Tony/Ziva thing. MW obviously doesn't.

Date: 2009-09-18 11:41 am (UTC)I certainly hope they start listeing to parts of their cast. CdP seems to like T/Z a whole lot, but I agree with you - MW didn't seem all that thrilled with the plot
and not with CdP hanging all over him either, to be honest(no subject)
Date: 2009-09-17 08:42 pm (UTC)I DON'T CARE! I just want the show back. And I don't think we'll get it to be honest. I'm fairly convinced I won't be watching for much longer. I'll give S7 a try just to see if they pull it back but it stopped being the show I fell in love with somewhere during S6.

Date: 2009-09-18 08:37 am (UTC)I think it has affected it a bit to be honest :-(. But let's see what they do in S7.

Date: 2009-09-18 11:45 am (UTC)We're definitely in full agreement. I'll watch the show for a while, but it continues in this craptastic way, then I just won't bother.
